Adina Gutierrez, MHC-LP

Therapist

Pronouns: she/her/hers

It is crucial that each and every person has a space where they are the one that is supported. We are often expected to hold the weight of the world, others, and ourselves at the same time, which can be very exhausting. Therapy is a place where you can just exhale and solely talk about you. It is both a beautiful and challenging journey and through both of those dimensions, I will ensure you an environment that is safe, non-judgemental, vibrant, warm, and even fun as we discover and explore ‘you’ together. I look forward to starting this new chapter together!

About Adina

I am here to serve as a partner and guide in your healing and growth, however it may look like. I will be there to feel your story with you and come along as you align with your most authentic self, for living as such is what you deserve and more. I will also be there as you find clarity and language behind your behavior, thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we can explore your experiences and identity, and begin to create a new relationship within yourself. This relationship can include understanding how you feel, deepening trust in your intuition, and a restoration of safety and grounding within your body and surroundings.

Working with Adina

In my work, you are welcomed into a therapeutic space where your voice, thoughts, and feeling of safety is my first priority. Through that intention, we will explore all of your layers, from surface to deep, and what therapy can mean for you. I like to hold elements of authenticity, compassion, and even humor in sessions as we encounter the process of reconnecting to your emotions and core self. I have strength in a variety of evidence supported practices, with a psychodynamic and collaborative approach while including elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
