For many of our clients, taking the first step toward seeking therapy is often the hardest step toward recovery and self-empowerment. Despite increasing awareness for and access to mental health treatment across the United States, there is still a ton of stigma and shame surrounding seeking support from a licensed professional. At The Gender & Sexuality Therapy Collective, our mission is to offer a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering therapeutic space, free from stigma, shame, discrimination, and microaggressions.
At The Gender & Sexuality Therapy Collective, we provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and families.
We specialize in issues relating to:
gender identity (including transgender and gender expansive individuals)
sexuality orientation (including queer youth and adults)
parents of LGBTQ+ children and youth
partners and siblings of transgender and gender diverse individuals
religious conflicts with sexuality and gender identity
coming out (in terms of gender, sexuality and relationship orientation)
sex work and people with current or former experience in the sex trade
kink and BDSM
diverse relationship orientations (including, but not limited to open relationships, polyamory and consensual non-monogamy)
sexual discomfort and/or pain
